Thank you to everyone who participated in the first round of public engagement for Ashtabula County’s new comprehensive plan process All in! Ashtabula County.

We heard from hundreds of community members through three virtual workshops (held on 1/19, 1/20 and 1/22) and an online engagement opportunity.

Comments received will inform the County’s planning process over the next several months, starting with draft goals and objectives for the new comprehensive plan.

You can read a summary of what the planning team heard throughout this first round of public engagement here on our website.

The next round of public engagement will take place in late-summer 2021, at which participants can provide feedback on draft plan recommendations and a draft future character and land use map.

Sign up to receive email notifications and stay updated on the remainder of the planning process, including future opportunities to participate.

We look forward to your continued involvement in this process!

If you have any additional questions, please email Jake Brand, Director of Community Services and Planning for Ashtabula County, at

Make the ash.mall in to a 55 and over live , work , play village all under one roof.ask use what we would like to see in the village. This could be a win win for every one ,and something that will be needed for a long time so this would be a great investment
